DTM 2024: The KNAUS Swallows fly with Emil Frey Racing Ferrari

Safenwil – Switzerland, 19th April 2024

Just shortly before the first race weekend, Emil Frey Racing confirms the new partnership with KNAUS, who will support the team as the main sponsor from the 2024 season onwards and will send the number 14 Ferrari into the season in a complete livery.

Hardly any other sport has attracted as much new interest in recent years as the popular GT3 racing series. In the 2024 DTM season, KNAUS is supporting the long-established Emil Frey Racing team as the main sponsor. The team from Safenwil in Switzerland can look back on over twelve years of experience in this class.

With the Ferrari 296 GT3, the team is relying on one of the most highly recognised racing cars currently available. With its powerful aerodynamics and supercharged V6 engine, the top Italian sports car offers the best conditions for many top placings. Thanks to its performance, it guarantees the best conditions for building on Ferrari's great motorsport successes without interruption.

Behind the wheel will be 28-year-old driver Jack Aitken. The Brit has been at home in motorsport since he was seven years old. He was active in formula racing for the first time in the 2012 season and even competed in Formula 1 four years ago. His DTM Ferrari will bear the prominent KNAUS lettering on a blue background. Jack Aitken will start the race with the starting number 14 – which is the lucky number of team boss Lorenz Frey-Hilti.

Like Emil Frey Racing, which has been involved with the racing team since the mid-1960s, KNAUS has been at the forefront of the industry for over 60 years as one of the most successful brands and suppliers of motorhomes and caravans.

Tradition, passion, and state-of-the-art technology are combined in every single vehicle from the German quality brand, and it is precisely this high level of quality that links it to the Swiss racing team.
